Community Support Services

Our Community Support team work one-to-one with people in their own homes and communities.

Our specially trained Community Support Workers provide individually tailored care to enable people with brain injuries to live happier and more independent lives.

Our Community Support Workers are experienced in supporting people to access employment and education, providing help with housing issues, and supporting people with tasks such as budgeting and shopping.

Because every client is different, every Community Support programme is different and designed to meet the individual’s particular needs. As well as enabling clients to live independently in their own homes, our Community Support Workers have supported clients during fishing trips, on hospital visits, to attend college courses and on social trips.

How to access our services

If you think that Headway Plymouth might be able to help you or someone you care for, it’s easy to make a referral. Our open referral system means that you don’t have to go through a social worker or health professional. Alternatively, you can call us on 01752 550559 and we can go through it over the phone.
