We’re so thrilled to be able to launch, at last, our peer support group dedicated to those who are so often overlooked when it comes to brain injury support and education – families and carers.
This week on Wednesday 27th August at 14:00 we launch our families and carers peer support group which will be led by our amazing ABI education lead, Penny Weekes.
Penny has year’s of experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and has also supported families within her work with the Adventure Therapy charity in Devon.
The session will take place, initially, on the last Wednesday of every other month at Headway House in Devonport Park. The sessions are free and refreshments will be provided.
